We implemented the Quality Clinic in compliance with the requirements of UTC. That is a great benefit for us and the Clinic will further strengthen our quality system. While we were being grateful to UTC for the opportunity to implement the Clinic, they sprang a surprise on us by giving us an award recognizing the implementation. Such is our fortune: we work with the world's best companies, with truly wonderful people.
We're almost there. Our good factory got much better with the changes ISO 14001 brought in, thanks to our preparations during this run-up. How much better we'll look when we are certified! But the audit is in April, and because we're so well prepared, we're waiting impatiently. Mother Nature, are we doing okay?
We received the AS-9100 Certificate from UL. We are spending the six months until October stabilizing it.
From October, we start a new initiative: to win ISO 14000.
We further consolidated our hi-rel business. After beginning work for two global aerospace companies, on Friday 13th April, we completed the certification process for the aerospace Quality System—AS 9100—with a score of 77%. We're now recommended for certification to UL-USA, and we'll tell you when the certificate arrives. Thank you, dear customers, for encouraging us to go for it.
